Suppose
you were going after a job and they told you, “Look, if you get this job,
you’re going to have to kill people—babies, young innocents. You get to have a bunch of people running
errands for you, and you get a nice car and a plane, and at night you get to
dress up in a tuxedo and have people take your picture, but you will have to
kill people.”
Most
of us would walk away from that, but a few hard-boiled, over-baked individuals say,
“That sounds okay, I’ll give it a try.”
